A good first class from the previous studies and IELTS scores. For the PG level courses 6.5 IELTS is the overall requirement and some universities accept English scores from approved education boards in India.

- Postgraduate degrees (Master’s) – Typically 1 year
- Ph.D. degrees – Typically 3-4 years
Students can work for 20 hours per week in their spare time. Also, during the academic year breaks, they can work for up to 40 hours per week. On successful graduation, students can work full time in the UK for two years to gain valuable work experiences in the western world.
